Event Details:

Phoenix Film invites you to attend the presentation and dialogue with filmmaker and lecturer Inga Burrows, about her ongoing project, the autobiographical hybrid feature production MY FINEST HOUR AND A HALF (2016 -), weaving dramatic re-enactment, documentary, animation and archival material from past projects, in performative self-reflective investigation into identity formation. The event will involve the screening of SHOCK OF THE MUSE, a standalone short drama and at the same time the material to be stitched into the larger scale 'digital blanket' MY FINEST HOUR AND A HALF; and it will involve the audience's creative participatory dialogue about the challenges of representing the self.
