'Songs To The Sea' is an ongoing multimedia project by local artist Beverley Gough. A collection of stills, moving images and sound/songs composed whilst living next to the Severn estuary in Newport on a sheep farm.

Bev works full-time as a musician, visual artist and composer.
After studying sculpture for her A Level Art, she later returned to university as a mature student to study BA in Art/Graphic Design. During the years in between, Beverley worked as a portrait photographer, a freelance artist in schools and as a musician performing in several styles of music. She still enjoys spending much of her time working as a musician under the name of Kitty, performing and composing for various musical projects.
Since graduating in 2000, Beverley has developed her musical and visual art skills and has had work commissioned and included in several art shows and galleries in the UK. She also spends time at her base in North London developing her musical and visual art activities.
